About Puca Labs

Early in 2025, four friends found themselves among the many caught in the wave of tech industry layoffs. This gave them a rare opportunity to do something they had always dreamed of: creating a game that blended their loves of mythology, history, storytelling, and of course, gaming.

We are Puca Labs, an independent game studio built and based in the Netherlands. Our goal is to bring players fun, vivid, and immersive worlds across a variety of games, genres, and play styles. Like our namesake, the mischievous and playful Puca, we aim to transform how players experience the stories and legends of our pasts and histories.

  Having fun together is how it all began and it remains at the very core of who we are and why we do what we do. Our goal is to create games that are as much fun for our players to experience as they are for us to dream up and build.

• Uplifting

  When one of us stumbles, there are just as many hands helping us up off the floor as there are clapping and fist-bumping when one of us succeeds.

• Curious

  We approach each individual, story, history, and perspective with a genuine eagerness to learn and understand. We do this by asking questions, exploring ideas together, and honoring the lived experiences and personal truths shared with us, treating each with care and respect.

• Accepting

  We welcome people as they are and stand alongside one another in creating spaces where everyone feels safe, valued, and heard. We actively support those whose voices are often ignored or silenced, ensuring they are respected, uplifted, and protected. We do not and will not tolerate discrimination, hate, or violence in any form.
